The Palmer Home, known as the pink palace, is an 18,000-square-foot antebellum mansion constructed in 1849 by John Ravenel. The home is now owned and operated by a third-generation owner, Frances Palmer, and was opened in 1977 as a bed and breakfast. The home is furnished and decorated with antiques dating back 200 years.
